| User: katyas | | 5 | | Huh - I always thought the bug the salesman turned into in Metamorphosis was a cockroach - that's what the description sounded like to me. Different interpretations, I guess. Heh. -Posted on Jul 12, 2008 | | User: j giar | | 5 | | Followed over from Chips...Broken. (There's a joke there somewhere.) Excellent and faved, so I can catch up. I'm told by various fluent germans that Kafka barely even specifies an insect. That it would more accurately be a "vermin" that Gregor becomes.
I hope I never learn german, it sounds awful. -Posted on Mar 18, 2006 | | User: Loki | | 5 | | Yep. However, Kafka never does identify what type of bug Gregor was transformed into (or even if he was a bug, as the original German is much more vague). Lit lesson over. Very nice page! Love the colors, love the subtly and especially the last panel (last panels are so important). Hoping to see more soon! -Posted on Mar 01, 2006 | | User: marine | | 5 | Good to see you again.
