Brett here... So, it was my 28th birthday on Sunday (August 10th), and I was without Moon. If you've been reading Man-Boys! recently, then you already know he's on his honeymoon. Crystal had a small party for me, and Darrell took this pic. That's my Grandma, Richard (Crystal's bro), and Crystal in the background. No, I wasn't actually sad... it was a great day... but it was fun to play it up as if I was. Then later on in the evening, Moon DID call to wish me a happy birthday and fill me in on the fun they've been having in Hawaii. We had lots of carne asada... I'm now full.
I'll probably do similar stuff for Wednesday and Friday as well since I'll be heading home to Santa Maria today. So yeah, Man-Boys! from the road! It'll be just like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... except a small aggie town and no drugs. Ok, so maybe not quite the same. Also, if you're from the central coast of CA, I'll be having an in store signing at Bendele Books in Santa Maria, CA on Wednesday from 5-7pm.
