not much to report here on the homefront. today's band of the day is just plain incredible, and well-worth your time.
slight changes at the main page , what with new links and all. and hey, while we're talking about it, if you're up for it please e-mail me an 88x31 button to your site (including the url) and maybe we could do a little somethin' somethin' of a link exchange.
plus, i'm fairly certain that the "cool kids" are going to become full-blown characters someday.
Mad World will be taking a hiatus while I struggle to remember what exactly constitutes me as a human being. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Holy dookie! I've never seen a comic spammed before!
anonymous at 8:34PM, Oct. 30, 2006
The guy who's spamming is a loser that doesn't have the guts to come out to the open because he's too scared of the conciquences. I mean, god, who has the time to type all of that junk?! Geez! This guy needs a hobby! Awesome comic, by the way. It's really cute!!! :D I made a wittle smilez ^_^

Hey class; sorry for the apparent lack of interest in Mad World. I've had to put it on backburner while I deal with the awe-inspiring splendors that are the day-to-day military lifestyle, and a book I'm working on writing (it's a compilation of short stories, for those of you interested). I will try and work out a schedule where I can at least do one new comic a week, just until I can find the balance between night shifts and fiction. Keep in touch, though! My e-mail address is michael.wriston@gmail.com. I'm always up for some talkey-talk. -m

We all knew he was crazy.
dragthemdown at 8:30PM, March 14, 2006
great looking comic. probably the most effective stick figures i've ever seen. seriously. i'm not trying to be a dick. they look really natural. a new favorite of mine.
Fallacy at 3:18PM, March 8, 2006

bobo_81 at 12:55AM, Feb. 26, 2006
Just noticed the semicolon in the 2nd to last panel. That's awesome!
iagojester at 6:14PM, Feb. 25, 2006
Ha ha ha! It's true- girls are jerks. I like the 'other' kids at school. They looks very individualized even though there is not a great amount of detail. That's just crazy!
Terminal at 11:26AM, Feb. 25, 2006
The link, it is broken! I do it too.
br4nzilla at 7:22AM, Feb. 24, 2006
That's so great. XD Aww, his wee pink broken heart. So cute!
inseutculnaime at 10:46PM, Feb. 23, 2006
Dang it
huxtiblejones at 9:25PM, Feb. 22, 2006
Seriously love the style! It reminds me a lot of my own, but yet it is very much distinct and different. Long live the quasi-stickfigure! Death to those who should tread heavily upon it! Nice comic, you've got that sort of random but understandable type of humor, it's refreshing from all the cookie-cutter comics.
Green_Tangerine at 2:39PM, Feb. 22, 2006
The cool kids would make for a neat addition, I like their character designs.
