Q: So what is this comic about, anyway?
A: The world is a pretty problematic place, even for a child prodigy. For Sarah O'Malley, it seems as though everyone in town is going crazy. As if being fourteen years old isn't difficult enough without having to deal with obsessed stalkers, homicidal ghosts, malevolent math teachers, or the complete destruction of The Moon. As a matter of fact, it all seems to be spiralling toward some cosmic punchline. The question is, will she figure out in time what the heck is happening to her life? Will you?

Q:Well, where does it take place?
A: In the sleepy town of Ypsilanti, Oregon, in 1996.

Q: What about the guy drawing this thing? What's he like?
A: His name is Nicholas Morales, and he is currently studying music and science at a state university AND HE IS A FROG-PERSON LOOK:

Q:What are the major influences for Lunatic, or what are some good webcomics?
A: These are the best webcomics, in no particular order: Lackadaisy, Return to Sender, Dinosaur Comics, Hitmen for Destiny, Rice Boy (And Order of Tales), Power-Up Comics!, A Lesson Is learned (but the damage is irreversible), Wonderful Theater Comics, and Unwinders Tall Comics.

I'm pretty sure that the movies Casper and E.T. played an important role when I was determing what kind of story I wanted Lunatic to be, what kind of setting it would have.

Artistically speaking, Kate Beaton's line drawings and Minus' watercolors had a huge influence on my drawing Lunatic the way I do, even though their comics don't look anything like each other or like mine. Minus has the added bonus of possibly being my favorite comic, webcomic, or narrative, ever.
