Let's see, background jokes in this...
Panel one, we have the main characters of I am Not Her Mother, a comic I intended to do before settling on Lovecraft Yaoi, and Hassenfefer from Manorisms. My mother wrote Manorisms when she was younger, I think she is the only person who is going to get the joke there.
Panel two, "There is no GAP in Rohan". The background characters are Ashlie and Tiffanie. No personalities, but they have names.
Panel four, has the fake shops "Borders and Noble", "Mary Spenscer's" Grave (it vibrates!), and "Goth in a Box".
Also, we see Chikira from KSCA buying her wig (which she wears for the entire series) from Rose Butcher from Geeky Gamer's Guild.
If you keep reusing a town, you just get more and more background characters.
