While walking in the woods, Lady Lili and Sir Mendoran discovers a plot to revive a long dead usurper. When they were discovered, Sarren summons an earth creature to take care of them. With the help of Nadine and Helix, the earth creature is defeated. Mendoran is sent to the nearby church to be healed under the care of Father Sephriel.

Helix discovers that Sarren is after the artifact called Panlikha. Lady Lili needs to get it first if she intends to help his father. With the help of Helix, Nadine, Father Sephriel and Sir Mendoran, she may have a chance. Meanwhile, Helix's past haunts him with the appearance of three mercenaries out for his neck.

Helix and Sephriel goes to the local tavern to try and win themselves some horses that they will need for their journey ahead.

Sarren discovers that the group has left Quellara on a quest to thwart his plans and sends his familiar to keep track of their voyage. Count Desideratus also finds out that Lili is missing and sends a team to track down her daughter and bring her back to Quellara.

The group is curious to find out why Sir Mendoran uses a mace in lieu of a sword which is the weapons chiefly used by other Templars like himself. He tells them a story of when he was younger and why he stopped using his sword.

Our heroes are finally on their way to look for the Panlikha but before they have gone any further, Lili disappears, all their gear is stolen by some unknown group, they encounter a bear and Nadine gets herself in trouble with a slime monster.

The heroes are overrun by giant spiders and lizard people who call themselves Sylosians. They did find their stolen gear but the question is, would they be able to get it out of the cave alive?
