And so we're done, this almost ended up being seven pages but my recent return to work has limited my time a little, and it would have been a little drawn out as well. So we have a slightly abrupt ending but i think all the key points have been covered. Somethign seems lacking though, maybe it's the lack of a jokey punchline... dunno. My closing line seems to lack a little something but Eschuteons line summed things up so well, perhaps i should have closed with that. sigh.

Okay my mum read this review from start to finish and she really liked how you guys grasped exactly what my comic is trying to do! BTW she said it was normal for you not to be able to connect the Greek names to the characters, as they ARE Greek after all! She also said she loved the 3-D characters and the whole set up of the review Genejoke so that's kudos to you actually :) And my mum's not easy to get an applause from, she's scarce as hell with praise, and knows her stuff far more than me ;) So great job from her and a thanks for me, for revisiting and doing this right :)

What is missing is the relatively equal-parts-clashing in a straightforward melee I think, which is what we're ok with reading emotionally much more. Unfortunately stories about occupations just have all the wrongs of war and none of the excitement. And I am very glad that I have succeeded so well in portraying that, that WM punches in the guts so much. :D That was the idea.

One of these days I got to try doing the thoughtful war drama that El Cid is looking for. Stories about resistance and occupation aren't the same as many other war dramas so in many ways there is something missing as opposed to stories about combatants as opposed to those caught in the crossfire. But as a story about civilians under occupation Without Moonlight definite is worth reading.
