El Cid sez: Neither reviewer was blown away by the first story. I know it's boring when the reviewers agree on everything but, well, tough. That's why YOU should be helping us with the reviews next time!

As for the aliens dancing around and goofing off in the middle of a battle? Well, Shasta does (sort of) explain it in the author's notes, in that the creatures are Chaos Agents, so... they tend to behave erratically. That didn't really resonate with me much personally, but there you have it.

Tomorrow, we'll take a look at the second story, and see if it fares any better with our intrepid reviewers. You don't wanna miss it! There will be hats!

EDIT: It's been over a month since this review was actually written, and Karabear Comics Unlimited has added quite a bit of material since then. One thing that has become clear, and wasn't at the time of the review, is that the general goofiness is an ongoing trend and, for better or for worse, appears to be intentional.

Ah, but then you have a reason to complain, Ozymandious: I put the issues up on IndyPlanet and then hock said issues within the comic itself. So I'm asking people to pay for it. This is a good page, though, and brings up points I was thinking about at the time. Issue 1 was written years ago, and I never rewrote it, which is a terrible mistake. Heck, the first five pages were also done years ago. It's why I use Comic Sans in the first issue. It's hard to write Tempore, as it is, because of his ambivalence. The nature of the chaos agents made for a bit of fun drawing, but I can understand the problems with it. But I stand by my Time and Laser dialogue, since he's supposed to be much more human in his actions, and generally trying to be more than he is. There's no excuse for Tempore, though. He's not human at all, so he shouldn't really talk like a human. And I still wonder why I made him look like that. It does make him look weird, and like he's always frowning.

I like goofy humor, and my motto is always "if it's free, why are you complaining?" especially since we aren't forced to read them. But then, that's the whole idea behind a review, so, there you go.

The Golden Rule of Webcomics: Good artwork forgives anything! There's no lack of imagination, and the second story (as we'll get into on the next page) is better written, but yeah better artwork would make it a ton more readable!

I gotta say the story seems pretty interesting but the craptacular artwork really ruins it. :(

Thanks for the Angie upskirt with poka dot panties. :) I'll give Karabear Comics Unlimited a look; Might like the goofy parts.
