Well, it's Pulse, washed up on the shore of Savage Paradise Island.
This is where the story officially starts, although this issue is mostly made up of flashbacks going through the mind of Pulse, the comic's protagonist, as he hangs on the edge of death. Therefore, things will seem a little fragmented and hard to follow, but bear with it, if you can.
Also, all the images in this issue have been recolored from their original black & white.
