So, ignoring the fact that I'm 5 months overdue on when I said I'd be coming back from hiatus, and the fact that I'm 5 ( Maybe 6. I didn't really look too closely at the calendar. ) days too late for this particular holiday-themed strip, let's get to the point: I am indeed back again. For how long, I don't truly know. What I do know is that despite the fact that we will not be going back to the daily update schedule I had previously, there will be updates for as long as my ever busier schedule of school and freelancing allows. I'll do my best to get a comic done as often as is possible.

That being said, I love the Halloween holiday as a cherished world tradition in which those of us too old to be out getting candy any more attempt to find new ways in which to scare the children who would be asking for that candy to the point that they must return home immediately, lest their urine-sodden trousers ( Urine-sodden trousers is just a fun phrase to say. Try it. Don't worry about the looks you get. ) freeze to their Winnie the Pooh costume. We all know that we do this to kids for two reasons. First, because our parent's generation did it to us in the hopes of getting us to spend the rest of our adolescent lives traumatized to the point of muteness by nightmares. and secondly, because we all secretly hope that if we manage to scare off enough of them, we'll get to keep all the milky way and snickers bars to ourselves. Because deep down at heart, we all know that the real point of Halloween isn't to give candy to cute little kids. It's all about waking up the next morning on the couch in a pile of empty wrappers and realizing that we no longer have the physical ability to remove ourselves from the couch.

Oh it's a bush. I guess it just seemed like his hair from the way he's positioned. Damn 2d perspective

I think your monitors may both be having problems Stickfodder. The little guy doesn't even have hair. Maybe what you're seeing is the bush behind him.

If it'll help preserve your innocence tj, then yes it's cherry coated candy.

Look closely at his cape Stickfodder. That should tell you who he's dressing up as. I'll be sure to get your gift into the fanart/guest strips page I'm trying to set up.

Always good to know I bring smiles Glori. That's why I make these strips. For the smiles.

Ahh you're back, that is a thing that makes one smile on a gloomy day.
I've never been trick or treating. Hardly ever have trick or treaters . It's not a big thing here, at least I think it's not. I hope it's not, otherwise I've missed out.

I will try 'urine-sodden trousers' out tomorrow. It sounds most amusing.

--I meant to say this yesterday, but my mac committed suicide for a few hours.

I've missed it a bit myself guys. It's good to be back in the saddle.

And now for answers:

I've made a few haunted houses in my time too Corey. It's great fun until you realize that sitting in the bushes making scary noises is even more effective and fun.

It happens Quiche. Don't be too sad. There's always other times.

All is indeed well Trevor, if just a bit busy.

x aura: I've found myself repeating it to myself all day whenever I feel like giggling a bit. Luckily, I go to an arts school so random giggling fits are fairly normal.

I would hope not Darksideofthemoon. I'd like to avoid it for just a bit longer.

My theory, is that the mess is from the kids who took more than one, but you can never really tell with psychopaths can you?

I'm glad to see me back too worstcase.

Hey, so is all that mess from the kids that took one or just from the ones that tried to take more than one?

Awwz. It's okay that you're late we still love you and your comic. c:

Oh and I said the phrase. It made me giggle so I tried it again and tried not to laugh. Yeah, that didn't work. Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that that phrase is funny. x]

Who cares if you're late, sir, we all totally understand being busy and life getting in the way of art. I'm just glad that you were able to update! I do miss this strip.

I hope all's well with you.

I missed you soooooooo much!!!!
I'm glad to have Last Words back as well!!!!

My mother was very artistic, in the way that she hand made all of my Halloween costumes while growing up, it is no wonder that it would be my favorite holiday too!
Through out my years, I have made 9 haunted houses, the ones that people would walk through. All but one were for cherity type fund rasers, the other was for a private house party!
Being in Japan, I miss it sooooooooooooo much...
