Alex Groh is a Illustration student currently living and working in Iowa. He was born and raised in Detroit and the city and it's musical and artistic history continue to have a heavy influence on his work and outlook. In addition, his fascination with psychology provides continuial fodder for his strange and silly form of humour. His major goal in life is to one day hang a few cartoons in the Louvre and Metropolitan Museum of Art and be able to call them high art in all seriousness.

Alex has an odd obsession with cookies and sleeping. Were it not for the fact that he has to get out of bed to draw and get milk he would probably never leave his bed. Plans are currently being drawn up to install a mini fridge in the headboard, a oven in the footboard and a large drawing pad on the ceiling. Work is already underway on learning to draw while asleep so as to combine favorite activities and save time. The project is scheduled to be complete in late 2009. He hopes that by that time he will be able to fully implement his new automatic cookie making device that he has affectionately named "Alice". There is no faster way to locate Alex than pulling a chocolate chip cookie out of the oven.
