Constantine/Celestial, Part One: War Machine

And so we begin a new story with a character we haven't seen yet: The Emperor Constantine, and how he deals with the spirit of the Celestial.

As mentioned earlier, we'll be doing this one from a different point of view: that of the Bad Guy, who we'll meet soon.

For now, though, I hope you enjoy the "cover" for this story. Maybe it's just the dimensions of the piece, but it feels like an album cover to me.

I hope you enjoy this month's comic. I know I will. I absolutely love Ancient Roman culture, and I love drawing Romans and battles and all the spiffy things we'll be seeing this month.

Oh, one other thing: all the images you'll be seeing inside Celestial's cape this month are supplied by NASA's website. NASA rocks. They take these absolutely gorgeous pictures of the heavens all around us, and give them away for free. All you gotta do when you use these images is to credit them, like so:
