For the month of August, we'll head back to ancient Japan to finish up the Yoshiie/Chikara story. This one picks up right where we left off in June, so feel free to head back to Part 1 (Almost Human) and give it a re-read.
As I mentioned awhile back, I'm just going to use my standard art style from here on out. While I enjoyed the hell out of the Japanese watercolor style, it just takes too long. Besides, if the pagehits for June were any indication, that art style just wasn't very popular, despite the great comments I received that month. I hope you enjoy August's story even if you were a fan of the watercolor look, and I hope the change in style isn't too jarring for you.
In the news last weekend, I heard that Paul Stanley was having some heart trouble, but is currently recovering. It bugged me that he was having these problems right around the time I killed Casanova--that was just too weird if you ask me.
Get well, Paul! I hope to hear your music for many, many years to come.
A little side note: while I was in San Diego, I was told that Paul really likes this webcomic. Likes it A LOT. You have no idea how good that was for me to hear. :)
Stop by Friday for the cliffhanger! You know you love those.
I've been following for a while, but had some problems receiving a verification for my account.
I've liked this comic all through it's run so far. I like it more than the printed comic which has some poor story telling in comparison to previous KISS comics.
I'm glad this webcomic is more my taste and hope they'll eventually release a printed edition of this in the not so distant future.
I liked the Casanova story and would love to see a prequal of sorts (but not before seeing a story about Ace and Gene).
I also liked Yoshiie/Chikara story so far. I liked the Japanese style of art, but what I see on this page is also very good. Keep it up!
