wtf is with this comic? wth is going on? what is with that spikey haired thing? is that even hair? why do i have so many questions?

QUESTION ONE: why?

i like to make comics. back in 6th grade i couldn't draw very well so i did what anyone would do. give up. then i figured possibly influenced by happy noodle boy somehow that i could draw stickfigures and get away with a comic. so i did. it was easier this way since i would have ideas but could never transfer them to paper fast enough because back then i never wrote down ideas for comics. i just did them as i went along. thus josh rants was the best. super reaction with super expressions. that was that. it's harder then it seems.

QUESTION TWO: why it on line paper huh?

these are several years old. some being even over 7 years old. so my photoshop skills were not the best. plus almost all of these were drawn during school for the sheer purpose of making my friends laugh. it worked and prompted me to scan and make a filthy website ( http://www.geocities.com/trythesoup ) where i also put other works of mine. they are all horrible. my prize and joy comic book i'm still working out and will make one day is not on there though. oh thank heavens. but joshrants, that was the reason to find that horrible excuse for a website. if you take them for what they are, they're not that bad. anyway, since they were drawn during class i didn't have any drawing paper handy, so this is what you get and I'm not about to go back and redraw all of these things. that's part of joshrant's magic. they were drawn in the moment of the feeling or action i wanted to convey at that moment. if i tried to recreate that, then we'd get something like this.

QUESTION THREE: wth is josh?

good question. very good question. all i can tell you is that he is based off a friend of mine. other then that...uh...look, it's best not to know ok?

QUESTION FOUR: what's with the syringe?

oh you noticed? yeah at one point i started to put atleast one in every comic. see if you can try and find them all!
