Well, this is the story arc I've been building up to for a year or two. I wanted to save it to be the finale, but I'm honestly not wanting to end Jix just yet...but I didn't want to wait to use this arc, either.
Especially because I figured it might be a good time to do it with Atra and Caligos gone on honeymoon. Not because they're important, but I figured if they were here for this, they'd be putting up a fight and it just seemed easier for him to take her while they were gone.

Ah. Well, it doesn't matter when he puts his helmet on. The lenses don't show his blue eyes. I think I originally picked that color because Jix is blue. (It's not significant, just saying.)

Yeah, but you dint think about the, HOW do you turn off a hologram. Press le button on that holowatch, wait for the changes. So, the same time, because using a watch will be, using logic, slower than a epik morphing ray gun.

The real world reason (at least for this comic) was that I wanted her to be able to transition from human to Ambis quicker. Turning off a hologram tends to be quicker than pointing a device at oneself, waiting for the changes, and then undressing. (Or undressing and then using the device.)

Sometimes you're more comfortable in your own fur. I imagine Ambis fur is warmer in the winter seasons than coats. Besides, she mostly uses the species changer when she's going out with Wayne.

When she uses the species changer, she's a white girl with blond hair, but when she uses her hologram, she's Hawaiian with blue hair.

Why is here hair blue? Isn't suppose to be blonde in her human form? Or is this arc situated before that?
