Why I cant make a real webcomic

Whenever I start to draw a comic with a story it ends... like that. I dunno why... When I draw something without a sense it comes out fine. Like this... (BTW, this is an old one)

I havent had a scanner, so I hade to ask someone to scan it, and he did it BITMAP, so its sucks...
