mlai, that is true, an artists efforts are always viewed for a fraction of the time by others who either damn or commend.

The artwork is extraordinarily impressive, especially the landscape art.

The lineart in this comic is nuts! Near the end of issue 1, each tiny little panel looked like the pencils to a poster. Your artist is a sadomasochist.

I don't know if he's doing this to himself, or if it's how your script dictates it... But IMO, this comic is too silent and the pace too spendthrift.

What I mean is, you have successive silent pages of a simple action, such as a man traversing a wilderness. What takes him days to draw, takes a reader seconds to flip through. This is true for all comics but I think it's to an extreme for this one. Even someone like me who studies the lineart, find myself flipping through the pages too quickly. Because there's nothing to read, and the action seems too simple to keep my eyes lingering on the page. There's nothing to digest, so I just keep going (fast). That's why I say it feels so wasteful (for the meticulous art).

Now, you may be going for that type of sparse cinematic atmosphere ala the great films of old... I just feel sorry for the poor artist. ;)
