Obama's speech has been described as "heroic." Nope, not to me. "Heroism" is doing something brave to save somebody else, not your own campaign. If Obama spoke up when other people needed him, then I would be impressed. His race speech, to me, was far more Nixon and "Checkers" than MLKJr and "I've Got a Dream."
