HotM 8 Prologue

On the previous page I made this comment about my DAZ Studio being down. It's still down. I've had many of these files since 2006-2007 and some of them seem to be frayed around the edges. That and copying files to a couple of new computers during those years seem to have created some glitches. I've been reinstalling my library and am able now to open certain files, but some objects are still missing or corrupted and so my labors are not quite done.
I did get this page done before everything came crashing down. Once I get DAZ back up again I will most likely be working behind the scenes and finally post a number of pages when I'm ready. I was really disappointed at how little readership House of the Muses 7 had, and that's not the kind of feeling one wants to carry with them as they wrap up a series once and for all. I've also had some health issues this past month, a horrible chest cold that will not go away that has persisted for more than three weeks, and my partner is frantic that it might be something ominous. I have to now re-evaluate everything, and eventually drag myself to the hospital to see what's up. It's my hope this can be kicked and I can get on to wrapping things up.

Update on the DAZ Studio glitch...it's down. There's some error where it's not reading correctly, and I'm going to have to reinstall everything from square one, including my DAZ library.
I have a huge library.
Another time-sucker is that I'm getting screwed at my penny-ante job, so it's time to bite the bullet and stop getting by. I have to focus efforts on getting back to the graphic design industry and give the bird to the cashier job. And to all the people in that job who are screwing me and giving me a rough time the harder I try.
This BS and reinstalling all my software is going to take considerable time. Beg, plead and reason all you want, I'm on hiatus. I'll be back when I get back.
