Your art is better than I could do. But I'm gonna be honest here - people are too addicted to "lol" - it is overused. I have seen people send an "lol" in quite an obtuse way. For instance, one of the comics I read, the author's cousin died. Several people (apparently thinking it was a joke or something) sent "lol"
