Ha ha, it's so funny but for some reason I want to cry. HMOs -- don;t get me started, but the sad thing is that all the other forms of medical insurance in this country are now just as bad and they all charge up the wazoo. I'm self-employed and for my family I pay around $1000 a month for medical insurance, yet when my son broke his arm last month I had to shell out almost $1500. I had managed to not need to run up anything else towards the deductible all year, you see, but now it's January and the deductible just re-set to zero again. Man, I want to turn a few of those medical insurance executives into ghosts. --- oops, looks like you did get me started after all - thanks for letting me rant!
