Story opens in the hall of Angrboda, the second (giant) wife of our anti-hero Loki (as played by Rik Mayall, incidentally...)

Their son Fenris is still banged up in the jug at the AEsir's pleasure, and visiting hour approaches. Can Loki ever eschew the pleasures of the fireside and get off his arse to do the decent fatherly thing...?
