No I am not reverting style! Everyone breathe! LOL!
I wanted to show that I haven't totally forgotten how do to other forms of art. While there are some issues I have with how this page turned out (I got too happy with the crosshatching in places), I really like the overall feel of this page.
I like how Tiger's pants turned out, and I really like the general mood of the piece. This isn't a happy picture...if you read the chapter, you will see just why this is such a angry scene!
Now in the written chapter he is already wearing the ribbed wetsuit for this "flashback" however...you all know how tired I am of having to draw that thing, so I reverted to the suit he wore in the first novel...his tigerstriped, neon yellow dive pants! LOL! okay so he was a bit of an eccentric in the first book...or just more on the wild side! LMAO!
There is a reason this is in stark black and white, and you will see why as I get this chapter going!
Hey!! I remember this place now, you're right I have been here before. Shark peoples!! Now I'm all caught up... I like your characters. They're all pretty down to earth and intelligent.
This picture, by the way, is sweet.
One suggestion for your comic - lay off the 3D and the effects.. They're good for web design, but not for comic pages. Consistancy helps with flow.
