Yes, under the sweatshirt, baseball hat, and sunglasses, lies our protagonist, Casper. It doesn't get explained for a while, but he has albinism and has been warned time and time again to stay out of the sunlight.
Sorry, but I have a tendency to over tone, though that is the point of this comic (at least, for me).
