Elrekia Susan Lune (Rekki Lune)
Rekki Lune Rekki is an unusually young first class knight and war veteran of Anglise. Generally known for her overwhelming power and high fire aligned magic signiture as 'The Red Devil'. Despite her great physical strength, she is emotionally fragile, suffering from acute insomnia, terrible nightmares and problems with adjusting to change. Rekki has a proud and honourable nature, but is a little wild and extremely impulsive.
Subo is a laid back second class knight. He has little sense of ambition, and takes pleasure in simple things. Despite his towering physique, his wide smile and relaxed demeanor tend to put others off-guard. He is actually a capable swordsman, and despite his lack of skill with utilising magical energies, has quite a high magic count, which fuels his incredible constitution. Subo has been known to shrug off wounds that would kill other people. Though he is a war veteran, he is not nearly so troubled as his new friend, Rekki Lune.
Rekki's younger sister, a paladin squire, but not an ordinary one. Rocket Lune is biologically a normal human, but before birth was made a 'changeling', with her human soul swapped for that of a 'Fairy Embassador', known colloquially as a 'Fairy Godmother'. This serves as both blessing and curse, sparing her from doubt when making moral decisions, and giving her unusually dense spiritual energy, but removing her ability to speak or act selfishly or in a way that's harmful to humans. This doesn't just stop at major things, like not rushing into danger, it makes her incapable of even sarcasm and cussing!
The young heir presumptive of house Ellis, the family that produces most of Anglise's 'Dark Knights', who serve as spies, assasins and the like, Juliet is known for her knowledge of espionage as well as her ultimate poker face. Her black humour and often controversial or ambiguous statements are juxtaposed by the kindness she shows to her friend, Rocket. She is known to be highly intelligent, has an above-average magic count and is said to be more agile than her stocky build would suggest.
Sarin is unusual in Anglise, being the child of immigrants in a country with very little ethnic diversity, so she stands out. Always eager to prove herself, particularly as a knight of non-noble heritage, Sarin expects very high standards of herself, and if she seems critical of others, it's nothing compared to how she judges her own performance. Sarin works as a junior instructor at the Alverse academy and has done since she graduated. She has a great deal of theoretical knowledge, but is quite inexperienced in actual combat. (First name omitted) Zephyr Zephyr has been a junior instructor at the Alverse academy for some time.
Though he cultivates a 'badboy' look, he's actually a very calm and kind
guy, and a rather sensitive. This, combined with his pretty blue eyes,
make him a crush-magnet for the female students. Their feelings are never
reciprocated, however, since Zephyr seems to have his heart set on a certain
other member of staff... WALKING FORTRESS The Walking Fortress is a terrorist operating in Anglise. Little is known of her except she opposes the High Overlord's rule and the isolation of the country. She always appears armoured, though the details of the armour have been known to change, and somehow alters her voice magically giving it a booming, unnatural sound. She is known to be extremely powerful, on par with an Elite class knight. Her true identity is unknown. Fushia Ellis An Elite class knight and acting head of House Ellis until the heiress, Juliet, comes of age. Also secretly involved with anti-government actions. Fushia has raised Juliet from a young age since her parents died on duty, and she taught the girl everything she knows. She is known to have been a close friend and ally of the late Paladin, Athena Lune. Her tendency to outlive her friends and family have left her a little world weary, but she is a strong-minded and practical lady, not prone to sentimentality. Beoran Anglise An Elite class Paladin knight who once acted under the guidance of Athena Lune. Since her death he has become increasingly jaded and involved in increasingly shady, underhanded methods as he plots revenge against those he feels are responsible. He is secretly involved in anti-government action, but maintains the public profile of being a righteous and dutiful knight. Tamina Crux Sarin's eccentric, flamboyant and very openly gay room mate. A third class knight working as a junior instructor, she was put in Sarin's room when Rekki left to go to war, while Sarin stayed on to teach and study further. Tamina is something of a fan of Rekki Lune. Rin Ellis Juliet's cousin and second handmaiden. She gets annoyed because people think she's a boy a lot, but dressed up right can pass well as a body double for Juliet. She's an extremely accomplished stealth artist and often seems to appear from nowhere right next to people! She's actually better at stealth than even Juliet herself, but lacks her cousin's wide range of magical skills. Headmaster Albion Rumoured to have been a rebel in his youth and even now known as a maverick, Albion is often the topic of dispute due to his unusual, but effective teaching methods. He never talks about how he lost his arm and eye, but stories abound about a duel with a fearsome vampire. Though he's an incredibly powerful and accomplished knight, he's very down-to-earth and well-liked by most students. Ulbrecht Blake An employee of the government of Alverse with a reputation for underhanded
practice and an unsettling demeanor. There is no proof of his bad deeds,
but most spiritually aware people claim his soul is 'filthy'. He seems
to weild a great deal of political power, so even knights are wary of
him. |
