Durham Red is probably one of the more famous characters we're using... although before FIGHT, I'd never heard of her.
Those crazy Brits, making cool characters like Strontium Dog and Judge Dredd... Funny how just researching for cool looking characters just opens you up to a brand new world... :-)
Unfortunately This'll be the last FIGHT Cast update for a while until we update with new chapters...
I'd say Fight is very different from typical fan comics. If this was japan I'm sure this series would be a hot selling Dojinshi(SP).
Really this is more akin to what Allen Moore did with the League of Extrodinary Gentlemen, except I'm actually enjoying this comic and don't hate all the characters.
I like to restrict myself to either really old franchises, or franchises that are dead. Even though FIGHT has violated copyright already, I don't like to be categorized with normal fancomics which use whatever is mainstream atm. She is from a dead franchise (lol pun).
Therefore, no Judge Dredd. If when Ed suggested Red, I had known she was from the same universe, then I might have rejected her as well.
But Red is pretty cool in that she predates Bloodrayne, which basically rips her off (and gets away with it). If I just rip Red off and then denies it like the Bloodrayne devs do, then I can get away with it too.
I'm finishing up the current FIGHT chapter. Slowly...
@JNP: Judge Dredd and Strontium Dogs are in the same universe... and I think they've had some crossovers here and there. From what I gather there was this anthology 2000AD they were both published in...
Good color job as usual... although now looking at the pose, I could've done better. ^_^
As for new FIGHT chapters, there is stuff on the pipeline on my end, that's almost ready... so stay tubed true believers! :p
