This page by me. Start of Chapter 6. In case it's not apparent, she's unconscious. And dying.
You may notice a slight change in Chase's appearance... eyes a tiny bit smaller, etc. I'm still experimenting within the comfort zone of my rendition of her, looking for the perfect compromise between her original look and my modification to mesh her with all other characters.
Edit: I updated the page to include the blood on Nuada's face. If it doesn't show up, it's the DD update/edit bug. Press CTRL+F5.
Read the companion comic FIGHT 1; both stories take place in the same world.

@ JNP:
I knew from the beginning that I can't keep drawing her the way she's drawn in the source; it's too stylized. I'm trying to graduate from just "Yay I can draw her like the anime." But my priority is to keep her looking like her. I hate fan art in which the artist's style makes the character look nothing like her original self (most anime fan art). I'll probably have relapses. As for Nuada... he's easy after all the practice I've had from F1.
Thanks for the edit tip.
@ Bradley:
Thanks! The subtle colors is more of a by-product of my materials/ methods. And the way my paint program rescales large pics. As long as it works.
@ Ailorn:
LOL, eh... I'll talk about it next page...
Yeah, her face looks totally different. It's really annoying having to try to mesh your cast well after you've already started.
At least to me it is. I always feel I should have maybe spent more time on that beforehand. But that's the joy of using our comics as also practicing.
To get around DD's bug so ppl don't have to press ctrl+F5 to see your updated page re upload the file with a new extension.
example, change .jpg to .jpeg
You can also rename the image .png, .bmp. .gif without actually saving the image as those formats. This gives you a few extra times that you can replace your image. Though you are screwed if you go through all the extensions =p
Man, Nuada's nose looks tough to draw over and over!
