@Nero Angelo: Meanwhile the Makasti are going to end up looking highly less impressive when I bring them into the story... XD;
@kallikak: Thanks! I haven't detailed it yet (no reason to) but Makasti have the ability to "bend" light, causing the kind of pitch black atmosphere that's going on. This is probably the most impossible thing ever and makes little sense but hey, it's a sci-fi story and I'm no scientist. :P
@crazy_goodfellow: Yup, somehow she made it out. :) It's just how she got her tell-tale facial scars.
hehe, that sounds like a plausible enough explanation to me (i'm not a scientist either!) you get a lot of wonderful textures in your artwork. looks very nice :)
