geneseepaws: Deep down Zadia probably understands this is necessary for her but he is also probably trying to cram a lot of lessons into her, as she knows so little about the outside world that she's at a serious disadvantage. While they may not know much about her, she still knows less about them, and there's several more races she needs to be concerned about.
Oh,is the "It's" referring to the cultural contact? Or referring to the common area in the Dorm? I just thought that the "It's" referred to the liaison, not the 'commons.'. I worry about HOW alien he's going to push her to. Especially if it's a Bug based life form, (not that there is anything wrong with being a bug.)
It is either going to be; No, not a clue, her name is [something that means something bad in Zadia's native tongue], and absolutely not. Or it is yes, seems mentally stable and polite, her name is [something boring], and seems nice to him.
