Here it is. I'm sorry it took so long. Without my resources at home since I'm living with my cousin right now, and because of some other difficulties this took much longer then expected. I guess you can see its very detailed too so that took up some time too.

I hope you like it. I coloured it on paintshop pro X2 which was new to me, but I got the hang of it and like the way the smudge tool works. Why is it coloured? I dunno, cuz alot of comics have their first pages in colour and both of the last chapters didn't have this, so here's my take. I didn't use my copics cuz my copic marker pad isn't big enough. I'd like to though :)

OK, so a few points on this page. Ethereal is supposed to take place at a real hospital in Toronto where I live which is renowned in cancer research. Most of these scenes are created through a mix of hospital pictures and even a daycare scene for the playroom. The window with Ariel and Spongebob is based on the playroom from the real hospital. No, I did not draw them :P The nurse pushing Angela is a big character, and there's a reason she says her name wrong :)

So, thanks for reading everyone. Sorry about the wait, but the next page is started and should get the story going again. Marissa is kinda giving a description of the past events here.

That's a beautiful first page, and so nicely laid out and coloured. I'm looking forward to getting back into the story!

Great page to start off the next chapter with. It's very beautiful. I think it's cool that you based certain settings off of actual places. It makes the story seem more real.
