Zel/Shelley thought that she would be successful in her endeavor but sadly she was mistaken. She erased Fae’s [..] memory [..]
of this world as Zel thought it would be far crueler for Fae to have
memories of a world that she could no longer visit than to not have the
memories at all.
As much as I’ve warned about Enya’s penchant for leaving bits and
pieces of the truth out, she’s entirely sincere on this page. Well,
except for one very minor detail that she is actually lying about.
Although, it is more to her self than Fae.

hmm, speculation. Enya skirts the demi question, but that is nothing new. I am guessing that perhaps she wishes she had another world she could go to, but will remain trapped in this one after the keys are broken.
