Doctor...I don't want people to think that I really care too much about an award. I won for best Western and best traditional art in 2008. Its 2 years later, and I have yet to even put my winning banners up. So it doesn't matter much to me. But when one comic, takes the nominations in multiple categories.....and when I say multiple, I mean almost every conceivable genre...and pushes out much more genre direct comics....then it becomes wrong. Fantasy, science fiction, action, horror, drama, comedy.....Engine is obviously a Fantasy. And, it is Science fiction and it is action. But to be fair, perhaps they should approach the artist, and say..."you've been nominated in 5 categories. which 2 do you feel best describes your comic?" then give the creator the choice to pick.....and not a massive, dedicated group of fans. -Posted on Jul 27, 2010

But you're correct. There's SOOOO many deserving comics on here, that simply lack dedicated followers. I'm neutral. I look at storytelling, writing, pacing, inking, anatomy ( anatomy is a wide area, because styles can be so different. case in point...Used Books uses a style that sets itself apart from proper anatomy, and yet, her figures are all in proportion and are well done. Within the world she created, it's great anatomy. It's consistent.), color and execution. You know.....the IMPORTANT stuff. But that's just me. Most of my favorites deserve recognition for their professional work....instead of a dedicated group of fans that vote, no matter what is out there that technically, might be better. Jesus Christ, there's so many good comics out there that never get the attention they deserve. You're not the only one TTyler, it seems people today are more interested in cute characters and fan service then art. I think it's a crime that Cru The Dwarf and Persona 3 FTW are in the top ten while some good comics lie beyond the top 50 mark. -Posted on Jul 26, 2010

I voted for you on Science Fiction and best comic story but when I came back to edit one of my votes the whole all the freaking voting fields were empty and if I tried to add something to them, dd spewed some error that a vote was already cast on this account, can't remember the exact error message.
