| repoman | When I first started working on Endstone two years ago, I had wanted to do the art in a Bruce Timmm/ Jack Kirby animation style. I thought that this simpler style would speed up the production process. And also I kinda' like the streamlined dynamics of that style.
However I abandoned it. I found it was actually more work trying to learn an unfamiliar style than just drawing in my natural, more detailed style.
So this was a design-sheet for Kyri Thunderhead in a Timm-Kirby style. Brush inked on bristol board. Color in photoshop. -Posted on Nov 05, 2009 |
