Miruku I wanted to end today's updates with a good page. This was after I stopped drawing Emma for a while. I still worked on it but didn't put down any pages, so I had some time to improve and think about strategies and how to take more quality time on each page. The skin color is different, ie lighter, here because I realized that deco peach, when seen under sunlight, rather than crappy apartment light, is actually rather disgustingly bright and unnatural looking and not to be used for skin. It doesn't transfer quite as well as I had hoped through the scanner, but it's okay because I eventually would like to tone all the colors done a lot to change the mood of the whole comic and make it far more somber, as it is intended to be. My favorite thing about this page; I didn't have to touch it up at all in photoshop. -Posted on Jan 19, 2006

Basically, from what you can/choose to read, you're supposed to pick up that the gist of it is that he's late/he's overslept, and he's being nagged about it. The nagging goes overboard when the speaker, his sister, gets into things that are entirely unrelated, and he really doesn't want to deal with it at the moment, essentially. -Posted on Jan 22, 2006
