	Elizabeth Walsh After seeing her family murdered by a seasoned assassin, she suddenly found herself an apprentice within the Order of the Thorn, a renowned assassin's guild. Though her situation seems hopeless, she continuously rebels against her new master, finding strength in the few friends that she's made.
Jeremie Hideur A feared and respected assassin of the fourth rank, Jeremie seems to derive pleasure in besting and belittling others. He is notorious for prefering to kill his targets with his bare hands, rather than using stealthy methods like poisoning or sniping. Though he has a grudge against the Lord of the Order, Jeremie has made no move to dethrone him... yet.
	Alex Delarge Jeremie's first apprentice, Alex has served as a sort of guinea pig for his master's brutal system of training. He is rather quiet and melancholy, but is a loyal friend and one of the strongest people that Elizabeth has to lean on. He gladly takes her under his wing, but is helpless to save her from Jeremie and resents himself for it.
Lawrence "Lucifer" Hayes Lucifer is a mystery to his friends. A new assassin of the first rank, he is constantly upbeat and cheerful to the point that it grates. It's a breath of fresh air in an organization that thrives on bad feelings. Attached at the hip to both Alex and Asp, Lucifer takes no one and nothing seriously.
	Andrew "Asp" Grant An assassin of the second rank and Lucifer's foil in every way, Asp tends to play the straight man in the middle of Lucifer's and Alex's pranks and wry jabs at one another. He acts aloof and distant, but he loves them like brothers, and would do anything for them.
Rune Staccato The Lord of the Order himself. Rune appears to be a cold man with hard eyes at first glance, but his light-hearted personality leaks out in his voice. A self-described "benevolent dictator," Rune is well-liked within the Order, except by those that resent his kindness. He seems to be an intellectual, and finds great pleasure in gently snarking those that are less well-read.
	Luther Abendroth Little is known about Luther at this point in time, other than that he is Jeremie's best friend and specializes in poisons and torture.
Ambrose Dion Young, frightened, and barely able to speak English, Ambrose is Luther's newest apprentice.
