Elijah and Azuu (#1340 Holy Matrimony: One Love)

God, has it really been five years? Who knew that it would take so long...

Well, here it is. The last hurrah. This is actually my very first Flash Animation. For an experienced Flasher something of this complexity may only take a week, but trying to learn Flash while finishing up a ton of art for college ended up stretching this project to about 8 months. I know a few months in a few people were clamoring for anything to be updated, but after such a long wait I'd feel guilty putting up anything less than what you've got above.

But yes, this is the end of the Elijah and Azuu webcomic. That's not to say that Elijah and Azuu, just that this website won't be updating. In fact, you can even find an Elijah and Azuu story in Drunk Duck Vol. 3. I'm bound to do more with the characters as the years go by, but right now I'm focusing on getting paying work in the art field, and I don't think I can do that and focus on the comic like I would have to.

Anyway, there's not much to say that isn't already in the video. I hope to see you all again soon.

yes, i have to agree with (i think) most people (i didnt read all the comments) in saying that it was a real pleasure to read Elijah and Azuu, it shall be sorely missed, but just like they say - good things must come to an end, and this was one of the best :)
thank you for the wonderful send-off animation, to me (and im sure many of the fans) it was worth the wait.

i hope your future endeavours prosper and the fun you had doing E&A stays with you for the next project!

You did a fabulous job on this! A super-neato ending for a super-neato comic. Whoo, it has been a while since I have commented hasn't it? A shame I've been out of time for things lately, been trying hard to catch up with my old DD pals. You've really improved your craft, your coloring and character anatomy have really shaped up.Y'know, I should probably tell youse this stuff on your DA account! Bad Amy! Anyway, I wish you luck in your endeavors!
On a more sentimental note: E&A was indeed one of the first comics on the web that I read and really got into, and you were the first person to give me fan art! (I'm sure I told you in the embarrassing overly-gushy letter I sent that time though!)
The crossover was awesome fun to do, and I am glad to hear you had fun too! I also first met Nick on your comic too, haha ^_^ so I owe it to you and E&A for that. It's sad to see it go (just when I was getting caught up again too T_T) but I do hope you have good luck and success with your work!

Wow! I can't believe its over! I've enjoyed this comic since I first saw it quite a long time ago and its been both wonderful and remarkable to watch your art grow and progress along with the comic. You're headed for big things! If I ever see you collect Elijah and Azuu into Dead Tree Format I'd definitely buy the series. Not sure how you'd sell the last strip though hehehe.

Wow Ink. I just wanted to take a second to write a message, giving you thanks for making this wonderful series. Even if you hadn't originally been intending it to end here, it still makes a good ending.

I've been with your comic for... I guess not quite 1000 comics, but at least 800+ of them. Before the Drunkduck crash, etc...

It has made a huge impact on my life, like all the stories I take in.

I still remember sending in a guest comic a looong time ago... It was... Terrible to say the least, but I was a lot younger, and I would hope my artistic abilities have improved since then(perhaps my joke writing as well.)

I am planning to major in an artistic field... Perhaps I'm going off on a tangent, but hey. This is probably the last chance to let you know that your work was and is greatly appreciated by me, and all your other fans.
(Maybe I'll make a guest comic, to test myself, I suppose, dunno if or where you would post it. Wow, I get flustered even over the internet, you're... famous to me, heh.)

Again, thank you for your time, and for all the troubles you've gone through to bring all of this wonderful story to us.
