subcultured I had a free day yesterday, so I spent all day on this. I thought it would be another week before this came out. I really like how well the wet-tshirt worked ^_^.
About Dreams in Synergy:
User: lapaix 5 i love the wet shirt effect
User: TheMidge28 5 Not a comic but a work of art...beautiful
User: Tommie Kelly 5
User: crazyduck 5
User: popswami 5 Reminds me of Den from Heavy Metal (Corben was the artist)? YOur work very enjoyable!
User: Kristen Gudsnuk 5 your style is fantastic. not just your art, which is impressive and painterly... but the words are poetry, and the meandering form the words take on the page seems an art form itself. I can't wait to read the whole thing. Woo!
User: gpcrocker 5
I really like how well the wet-tshirt worked ^_^.
Yeah I thought u spent 75% of the time drawing those tits o_o :p
User: Frail 5 Spectacular lighting. I love how soft everything is, like a painting.
(I wonder...)
User: Darwin 5 Heh, Lady of the Lake! SWEET! Nicely rendered, you've captured the realism and the emotion of the characters.
User: sandy 5 Woww, great coloring skills and the characters are so realistic. Looks like a photograph almost. I like it.
User: espcomix 5
User: Tamerlane 5 awesome coloring
great job on her shirt 0.0
User: subcultured toshu: i'm 60% done with the next page, so maybe this weekend.
User: Toshubi 5 Sorry it took so long to comment. Very imperssive art work! When will you be updating?
User: Zack_Squint 5 Im diggin' the artwork. You have lots of talent. Keep arting it up cause it would be a shame for you to not.
User: subcultured I'd like to welcome the people who googled "wet t-shirt" next time ill have to say "naked chicks" on my author's notes, maybe that will increase hits. hahaha
User: silus 5
User: subcultured *fixed some stuff
hey laura, good to see you back ^_^
User: Laura That t-shirt IS wet!
The colouring and such is very warm and awesome. Really puts you there.
I have a couple of probs with the anatomy (miss me? :p) inc no hips on that woman.. plus her facial features are quite large compared to the room for the skull. Also her lifted arm is shaded so that it looks as its been folded over funny.
Anyways, likes it. Didn't you update yet? :p
User: subcultured if you're interested, theirs a sketch of the next page on my main site. click on the comic picture^
User: subcultured i use a very cheap wacom. my $200 waccom broke down a year ago. now i have to use a small $99 one. which isn't as good because after 3 months the pen broke and i had to buy another one. the pressure sensitivity is so off, im surprised i can still do art with it.
User: subcultured I was trying to connect a lot of themes that reflect the page with the writting. "emerged, raise, upper" describing her coming out of the water. And the way I rhymed "epitome" and "creativity" is a creative way to say that she is beautiful. I'm glad people are able to pick up on the writting also.
User: Ernie 5 I love the warm colors..and the painting itself. I really admire how you can create such unique characters too.
Do you use Intuos Wacom? because I use Graphire, and I was wondering if there's alot of difference betweeen the two when painting.
User: Jenshin 5 Your poetry is great.
Your art is like poetry, too.
Everything captures the best of the details.
User: gsquared 4 Great art; amusing story
User: Arvel 5 Amazing art!! Very stunning and Danielle looks really beautiful. I like the realism of the art and the way you do the text.
User: Mika_yi 5 oh wow! I just read your comment box on the last page. I had no idea! I did enoy the comic while it lasted but this ones very lovly looking too. the detail in the faces and the wonderful colors. I'm hoping to see more. I'll have to add you to my box so I don't loose it. I'm glad I found it forgot how I did but I did. ^o^
User: Green_Tangerine 5 Eyebrow and an upper lip..
Nice writing!
User: Bit Player 5 ooooooooo
User: subcultured **update 4/11/06 I think this is the final version for this page, thanks to everyone for commenting and putting the comic as one of thier favs.
On to the next page!
User: Stain 5 These graphics are amazingly amazing. I shall await more.
User: magicalmisfits 5 Very Nice work It has a painted in oils look. Very nice.
User: omega5ooo 5 I adore the warm colours and atmosphere.
User: Joff 5
User: username 5 So it's not all just great art ; p, I can't wait to see whre the storyline goes.
User: subcultured **updated 4/10/06 fixed the faces for better expressions. Especially on the guy, who had a stoic expression. this time you can see more elasticity in his skin
User: subcultured btw im actually not done with theis page. I wanna post it at cgtalk, so i'll have to add more details to spiffy it up.
User: subcultured confused- your pretty much where i was 3 years ago. but for me it was artists like Linda Bergkvist and other high caliber artist. I never really thought i would come halfway close to those types of works, but you just gotta keep going and learning. On that note i opened up a dd comic account where I share some of my digital tricks "Subcultured Tutorials".
User: Aywren 5 Absolutely stunning effects...
User: confusedsoul 5 I hope you're happy! It's people like you who make inferior artists like me eat their fingers!*goes off and cries at the sheer awesomeness of this page*.
User: Byakko 5 Awesome pictures!! ^_^
I wish I had photoshop to do that with my pictures...
User: timlight 5 gorgeous!
(ah! i miss pastel)
User: nighthawk41 5 You are truly an amazing artist. I love how the water turned out.
You only spent one day at this? That's amazing.
Oh, and wet t-shirts rule. If every chick were to wear a wet t-shirt, that would kick ass.
Wish I could rate higher than a 5.
User: simonitro 5 Damn, every page seems like a masterpiece and I agree with what you are sayin'!
User: Captain_Rickets 5 Abstolutely stunning. You are a master of your art.
User: Daf42 5 Pretty Damn impressive
User: Jakob 5
User: magickmaker 5 Wow...

User: CrazySOB 5 Very beautiful art, great colors, and your shading is fantastic.
User: Radmetalmonk 5 *touches*
ooo wet
User: subcultured If you're wondering where you saw her shirt. it's from "subcultured style" offer on my main page. It's been while since I've made shirt designs, so I though I could tie it into the comic.
User: subcultured fixed the neck.
I also updated my site. Better navigation and updated the links. There's a link to an archived "the rock". in the movies section, vote to get "echo dreams" into the serious shorts collection of newgrounds. It's a few more votes away from getting there.
User: tonik 5 Yes, indeed very nice... if realism is what you are aiming at, then the neck seems to be a bit long. Other than that, the picture is awesome, yes the wet t-shirt too.
User: spaz 5 Fantastic
User: khorshed 5 You're amazing *o*
User: WayneEnterprise 5 oh man, what can i say that isnt obvious already; the style is awsome, your is shading superb and the human characteristcs at its best... specially boobies nice :3
