@Machinehead: LOL! Underage drinking is what underage kids do! They can keep making laws if they want... but as long as there is booze out there... kids will be drinking it!

@Amanda: Well it is certainly frowned upon eveeywhere and it's written down that kids aren't allowed down to somewhere... but in terms of actually giving a kid a juvy rescord for simply possessing booze isn't taht common I don't think.
@Oldguy: I've met as many bad cops as I have good ones!
@openminded: LOL! Yeah, It's pretty much the same here. Underage drinking is more of a tradition here in Canada than an offense!
@BFFSatan: Nor did I til I read that story... 6 months probation to avoid criminal charges... for POSSESSION... crazy!
@Ghostrunner: I think being Bill Belichick's son probably had a lot to do with it for sure!
@Zoomcomix: Two words... THAT SUCKS! I guess its a question of how harshly such laws are inforced really. Its not legal to drink or smoke before the age of 19 in most places in Canada, 18 in Alberta and Quebec, but I think most people remember what it was like when they were younger and take a fairly lax attitude towards punishing such offences.
@Chriswastewater: I thought so too. it appears to be regulated regionally so its a bit different everywhere by the sounds of it!

Hang people??? Damn, those governments really take it hard when they don't make tax money on something.
The covention was good... we just went to hang out... I wasn't in artist alley or anything really cool (later this year I'll be doing that). The only problem i have with conventions is that they are so active and so interesting (in a good or bad way) that it's always a bummer when they are over (although I needed the rest man).
