Looks like swine flu's a hot topic! But unless you've been living as a hermit without a television, newspaper, or radio for the last week... You already knew that! Today, I tackle Twitter! I just signed up for it! It's like computer crack!
@Amanda: How many allergy sufferers do you think have been calling health departments freaking out for no reason?!
@Editt: Well, at least you get a free break from school! Although, so close to Texas, where it seems to be a real danger... some precautions might be in order... Everywhere else... the normal flu is still a bigger threat than this one!

@Gellespie: I'd say you're good bro! I've had the flu too, but beyond the curiosity of wondering if I have it, so I could tell people I do! I haven't really thought about it much!
@Jules: Thanks! I wouldn't worry! I went through this crap with SARS when Toronto got "hit"... All that really happend was our tourism industry getting killed and like 40 people died in a city and surrounding area of about 6 million...it is so familiar It's scary! That was ridculously overstated and the illness was much worse!!
@Oldguy: LOL! Probably... either that or twisted mexicans humping pigs!
@Zoomcomix: True... china or India are screwed if something like the Spanish flu popped up there... This flu would do some damage.. but nothing like the blue fever (i.e. Spanish Flu)!

@Peipei: Yeah, we've had less than that in all of Canada... like 3 in our part of the country... I think people are little numb to it here after the SARS crap a few years back...
@Jonko: If there isn't... those bastards in charge of the government and the media will always find something, or create it... A scared population is easy to control and eager to buy crap they don't need... like gas masks!
