This comic came to be kinda like all the other good ones do, out of thin air. Or out of nowhere, however you prefer it.
I'm not sure just how the creative process works. It's kind of like my computer. I have a basic understanding of how it works, but when it comes down to all I know is that if I turn the power on it's there. And that's kind of the approach that I use when writing the Decaf strip. Like the above for example.
I thought of those love sick puppy boys pulling daisy's while chanting that inane chant. Hoping that for some sick reason, the death of the flower will bring about true understanding. It's a weird tradition when you really think about it.
