However, since Kevin was born first, he was chosen by the Great Dragon over Stefan, leading many in the world to believe he is a failure. This resulted in his banishment from Seiger Castle at age 10. However, his mother, Queen Karen, still loves him, and he does have some support... William is helping him try to prove to the world that he isn't a failure.

William is the oldest of the three Guiles brothers, and has assisted all the Chosen Ones in their quest, whether it be by beating a seemingly impossible fiend, or keeping them from getting into a destructive argument. He is currently helping Stefan prove to the world that he isn't a failure, and deserves to be allowed to exist. His great size isn't as frightening to people in this world, probably because they are somewhat used to seeing him and his brothers.
