Anyway all these character are really great characters from highly enjoyable comics so I highly advise you go check them out. Also kudos to these creators for giving me permission to use their characters like this, I hope do the characters justice here in Cwen's Quest.
Additionally the guard here is Cyan Winter's from my long time friend NeilaK20 and her first completed comic Soapbox Hill. Incidentally I should mention I wish the series she is working on now was out because I would have loved to have cameoed one of her new characters 'cause I've read her script and it is good stuff even better then SBH where she got out some of her learning mistakes. Except a hearty endorsement from me when she finally decides what she is going to do with it. You can check out some of the stuff she is doing lately on her DA site.
Oh never mind; I see a later post about why you chose to use the giant child from Earthsong.
Yeah, having a bit of favoritism or passion for a particular character is something I can understand and respect.
Reading through the archives, I saw the giant from Earthsong and recognized (her?) right away, but none of these other characters, so I thought it might be a parody. But at the same time, I just wasn't sure.
Reading your description much later I see that you were intentionally using all these other characters.
But still I'm left to wonder.. Why?
Not, why are you using them, but why these characters? Of everyone you could grab from Earthsong, why the giant kid? Of all the many comics you could import characters from, why not comics a little more notable? (Well, I guess notability can be pretty dang random.) But why not characters who are a little more notable?
Still though, even in black and a white and having not read Earthsong for several months, I recognized the minor character right off the bat, so good job on recreating Alyss.
taltamir: I'll just say you are not exactly right, but you are not exactly wrong either. Lets just say that I could tell you right now without and ill effect to the story but I think it would be much more interesting to let it come out in the comic in a more dramatic way then simply me telling you.

1. Not from another comic
2. Will appear some time in the future, and revealing more about her now will be a spoiler.
@Nick Maybe Kaylee could make a cameo sometime, once I get PK up and running.
Also I'm glad people like Cy's eyes, I might bring that black on white eye thing over to one of the aliens in PK :P
That's true Nick :-) With Armalee,it was more her style of dress and her necklace that remind me of Amy -thankfully not her behavior (I'm sure Ames will be relieved to hear that)

Kaeoz Crimson: We'll they were very luck the top comics have such awesome authors and artists as to allow them a small CQ working holiday away from their native comic. By all means feel free to write to the respective authors and tell them how cool they are for giving permission to CQ to do this.
