I LOVED the "Scarecrow" line. Energize and Fusion---so alike in many ways, so different in others---have developed a real bond. We readers get an added dimension to the scene since we know Energize's fate.

Yuuki got one of those transdimensional spheres at the end of Crossoverlord. She just didn't USE it this time. Doubtless Loki has made it into a bowling trophy or something by now...*Grin*

so fusion is dorthy, energize is the lion, MM is the tin man, perfect seems like the scarecrow, i guess that makes yuuki toto. one thing doesn't make sense with this scene though, energize doesn't have access to the sphere in his dimension, it is with the people hunting him down, so how is he going to stay in touch with savunn? and why didn't yuumi get a ball, is it because she wasn't called, or did she gain one last time?

She was ordered to "stay low" for a while? Huh, I guess she did the right (but propably illegal) thing in her current storyline.
