Those of you who have read BRAT-HALLA know that Hel served as babysitter for Odin's rowdy bunch of kids--including Loki, who though Angerboda's husband and Hel's Daddy--ate a pie made from Idunn's apples and turned back into a baby. Here we see she also did babysitting duties for Utgardloki's daughter, Syr.
If you think about, talking with Death--knowing she took your mother--will someday take YOU--she has a greater reason to "hunt" Deaths then many.
Baby sitter or no.

Very nice! I like the concept! What better drive to fight the 'good guys' than with an ideal of one's own? I like her personal stake in this, away from the Gangers.
