Well, those two aren't having a good day. Hopefully the cat that surprised Cricket looks a little familiar to Used Books readers.
also if anyone's up for for doing a guest comic you can e-mail them to patrickdevine2000[at]yahoo[dot]com. It'll still be a little while before I put this comic on hold so there's plenty of time to submit one.

@ulthor: Well it's when she's out of the movies that she's in trouble
@chris_wastewater: I hate *most* cops too.
@Ludeshka: Dart's kind of an oddly developed character, I originally wanted him to have a more heroic role so I made him kind of unconventionaly good-looking. I like the lines under his eyes here, I don't know why.
I'm glad that you and some other people like Ollie too, I sort of prefer that it makes sense to the readers why Cricket likes him.
@usedbooks: Haha! Cricket's slacker habits are actually a survival mechanism! And everyone just assumes that she's lazy!
@Zephyrion: Actually it's not really such a bad hiding place. You'd be surprised at how seldom people think to look up.
@Trevor: Although I might not be nerdy enough to keep up a Jolt habit I've found that on my worst days it keeps me coherent.
@Warped: Hey! I've been cheering you on to keep doing your comic! Obviously I need to hassle you some more.
@Peipei: Dart's never been the most trustworthy of people.
@Cirdan: Dart probably has a lot of mixed feelings towards Higgins. I'd like to do a backstory for how Dart got to where he is.
@JNP: Well, people don't use alleys as public meeting places anymore,(SO last year!) However they still have their uses for setting up ambushes, shortcuts home, and bathrooms.
Oh man...bad news, bad news! C'mon Dart, ya wanna get back at your old man, don't you? Saving Cricket and Creature would be the perfect way to do that....
I'm genuinely frightened for their safety here! This is starting to look like the worst week imaginable! The past two pages were excellent, with the build-up and now the ambush.
Yay Jiro! Ha, UsedBooks' comment about the police raffle thing is funny. A couple years ago in the Austin area, police were pulling over GOOD drivers and presenting them with Round Rock Express tickets.
Jiro needs to go home and stop spooking people and, um, creatures. XD (Thanks for the cameo, btw. Such a surprise. ^_^)
Don't panic yet, Cricket! Maybe they're looking for a lost kid or want you to buy tickets for a police raffle. Or they just want you to face the wall, so they can take a leak without you watching. Honestly, she could be in some trouble... I hope Creature thinks of something -- or one of her questionable new friends comes to her rescue.
