IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! I'm in dire need of money...well, maybe not DIRE per se, but Nick and I had planned to go to the Texas Wizard World convention, and suddenly money had been getting very tight between buying a place to live and all the wedding stuff and craziness...oy, but I hate to ask...so, I want to propose that I do something in return for meeting a goal (unless anyone has a great suggestion, please refer to the CTV forum if you do so it can be worked out) but my idea was this: If we get up to 500 before November 10 or so, I'll do a full week of daily updates of CTV, if there's miraculously any more than that, I'll do more... and if we get close enough, I'll do like half a week or something. This should keep me extremely busy! I would like to do commissions, but I haven't really got time for them...nor do I think of my work as worth much, which is why I feel pretty rotten asking like this too...so if anyone has suggestions what I should do to deserve it, let me know. I did make a few things to sell on Ebay (one of which is a pipe-cleaner Samrick and a good Oswego-Charby) but until I have pictures/figure out ebay it'll be a while for those. Anyway, if you think this is an OK idea, just tell me...I don't want anyone to feel guilty because they can't do anything to help out (I would never hold that against you! I'd be pretty awful if I did, y'know) but any little bit counts.
Also, another thing I'd like to add: if someone (like last update's comment) is being rude and ignorant and unhelpful, don't pay them the favor of visiting their comic to retaliate (or even see if they can back it up with better!)because that's just what they want, you're just another hit-count to them. There is no other good reason for someone like that to make hilariously idiotic comments bent on raising the ire of a comic's audience (especially if it is a large audience) other than to draw the attention to their own comic. Even if you're just taking a peek, this person will still benefit from your visit.
There's still a lot to be said for having good manners, even on the internet.
Also, I've changed the rating to T, though I'm not really for it and I typically like it as E because...well, I have my reasons let's just say, anyway, because I don't want to get trouble for the impending violence up ahead (especially if we get to the point of daily updates). I can't say I really agree with the rating descriptions, because this comic is far from an "M" rating, yet that and "adult" are the only 2 that mention violence (though CTV has more "gore" than "violence") and as far as that goes, it's the only thing in CTV that could be considered "bad".
The look on Sadick's face in panel 7 is hilarious way over the mountains!
And wish I had started reading here on DrunkDuck sooner, 'cause would have donated to your trip, were it not that it's probably over by now :S

guys don't go acting like a mob and stoneing 'annonymus' to death here, he/she is entitled to her/his oppinion, i just wish that a) he wouldn't hide behind his dumb annonymus sheild, and b) he would be a little more polite about it i love this commic just as much as everybody but i dont; think it's fair to condemn everyone who posts a negative comment (although as stated earlyer i do wish people would be more polite when they have critisisms)

I love the effects you did with the floor, how it reflects the feet of whoever happens to be above it. I also like that you took the time to include the correct coloring from the character's clothing.
Once again, I also like the effect on the floor, because it can show the entire character. >_> And, I've been reading this comic for a while, and wanted to five it with a relatively long thing on my favorite part.
Although, a close second is the way you make the character's eyes. Including the distinct ring in her eyes, when she nailed Kavonn with the vase.
Other than what has already been said, I would like to add that the fact that Xan is just sitting there with the "ok, crazy people, moving on" expression is absolutely hilarious

Good luck getting the money you need. I know what you mean by not wanting to change it to T I didn't want my comic to do it either but there are a few points in it that may require that. Better safe then sorry.

You're comic is very clean, now that you mention. I guess it's one of those things I've never paid full mind to but simultaneously and subconsciously appreciated. It's like an action movie where all the adults (their being "good" or "evil" irrelevant) saying cute baby curses like "effin'!" and "friggin'!" I, personally, have always found that simply adorable. So yeah, I really like that about this storyline. Because while I'm not going to sit here and claim to have a clean mouth (I do curse, usually accidentally, but I do), I'm still glad that there's still something that won't totally corrupt (and paint) my vocabulary. XD I know I sort of just went off on a tangent, or however the saying goes when someone strays from topic, but I just thought I'd like to let you know how much I like the clean tongue to this whole comic, just about.
And there’s something about this page. What is it called when something totally blows your mind away? “Exceptional”? Is that the word I am thinking of? I dunno. Let’s not get into my wording skills; you know what I’m trying to say. Well, you will once I say it anyway.
Like, look at all their expressions. Everyone’s. I mean, your skill in drawing faces and expressions has always made me feel a little, “Oh, the envy is eating my soul!”, but today... It’s just something I can’t really even say. Like, if you took all the words off this page, and nobody ever told you what was happening and you’d never read this or any other page... I think you’d still be able to just know, you know? It’s wonderfully portrayed visually, I am trying to say. More so than usual, I am also trying to say.

Does it help anyone if you look at their profile? Hopefully not, because I checked that guy's profile and from his avatar/front page which are on there, his art isn't anywhere as good as Amelius'. I don't understand why anyone would want to bring another artist down, especially when their own art is inferior to what they are condemning.

And on the rating, I agree on the fact that it shouldn't be M, or teen even, it ain't that adult, just a bit of violence and gore, which, when I was five I was drawing (Badly.) people getting decapitated and what not, so it shouldn't even be Teen in my opinion.

Well, the plan is really: if I get up to $500 dollars in donations before Nov. 10, I'll draw and update CTV every day for a week or more, no matter what amount though I plan on doing something special at the behest of you readers. The money is to cover the costs of travel and such to the con, or more likely to help with our home purchase if we don't make our goal.

I'd probably sell the original marker-colored pages instead, my lineart pages...well, let's just say I'm a little careless with them after I scan them, so some are a tad worse for wear...I thought of putting the art for the last panel up, but it got stepped on T_T there's really not much space to move around in this here room, so I'm looking forward to my future workroom!
