Whee, first page and we're already making fun of my spriting inadequacies.
I started this comic for the Sprite-athon over in the forums. Check it out if you think you're any good at making sprite comics. =p

This looks really nice. And it's always fun to make fun of your own bad art. I dedicated a whole comic to it.

Okay, this comic kicks ass, alright?

It is VERY good looking, I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

That's very good, and I don't normally go for sprite comics either...so big compliment from me :D

Looking good Ria; love the background you've made, good use of colour and dithering to keep it looking nice and smooth witout drawing focus away from the characters and your sprites get better all the time.
The only real beef I have with this page is that the ship itself looks waaaay too 2D, because the metal panels textured on it don't wrap around near the edges (think lines on a Zepplin). Curvy things can be a pain to shade right mind you...

Cory: They're more or less scratch, though some parts (the faces/heads mostly) owe a lot to Megaman 7 sprites. So, yeah, "home-made".

Are all of your sprites "Home-made?"
This is a question I like to ask most sprite comics to which their sprites aren't familiar-looking to me.

AWESOME! I love the way the panels are used!
I'd give it a 10 if I could.
