Protagonists

Name: Therandeman Elfine

Age: Approximately 120 years old.

Gender: Male.

Species: Half-elf

A young (by elven standards) half-elven Warrior, Therandeman wants only to make a name for himself alongside some of the great legends of old, like his ancestor, Arcturius Therandeman Elfine - from whom he got his name. Naive, a little childish but very brave and fiercely loyal to his friends.

Name: Kharma

Age: 32.

Gender: Male.

Species: Half human/half dwarf.

An experienced and somewhat sadistic wielder of arcane magic, Kharma is Theran's closest friend. When and how the two met is currently uncertain, but it is sure that they hold each other's abilities in high regard. He seems incapable of removing his red-studded gloves; whether by choice or not, is unknown

Name: Jacob Dale (a.k.a "Jax")

Age: 23

Gender: Male.

Species: Human.

Sarcastic, pessimistic and trigger-happy. Those three sum Jax up almost perfectly; he trusts in very little aside from his friends and his twin pistols, Ruby and Garnet (an odd choice of name, since both are bronze.) A crack-shot with any projectile you care to hand him.

Name: Duk

Age: 31

Gender: Male

Species: Tiefling

Optimistic and active, Duk is a Tiefling - a regular human who, thanks to an over-amorous ancestor with strange tastes, has some demonic blood in his heritage; in his case, giving him horns, red irises and a faster metabolism than most. This gives him a somewhat extreme appetite, but lets him recover from injury and illness much faster than most humanoids would.

Name: "The Beast"

Age: Unkown

Gender: Male by appearance.

Species: Demon

A violent, murderous, bloodthirsty entity hellbent on causing as much pain, suffering and carnage as it can, as often as it can. After it's previous host killed itself out of madness bought on by the Beast's presence, it took residence in his Axe, where it waited for 15 years until Theran unwittingly picked it up - allowing the Beast an instant passage straight into Theran's naive mind. There he now lives, taking over Theran's body occasionally to wreak havoc and continue to sate it's lust for death.

Name: Ghargash

Age: 19

Gender: Male.

Species: Khelmaren.

Lone survivor of a brutal assault on his village, Ghargash, a capable warrior and Summoner, seeks the utter destruction of the Beast - and if that means killing Theran as well, so be it. Were it not for the Beast's choice of host, Ghargash wouldn't even -be- an "Antagonist" to the story - he is an honorable and caring man at heart, who, once his trust is earnt, is fiercely loyal. Note: Ghargash is not the only surviving Khelmaren; many other tribes still exist around the world, but his was, other than himself, wiped out by the Beast in a former host.
