This strip will all be done in colour pencil but with occasional mixes of enhanced photos etc now and then. It won't be a normal panel arrangement either but I think hopefully it will work out quite well this way.

Wow, absolutely beautiful color work. I'm usually not a fan of photos included in comics, but here it works perfectly.

I get told off for giving the game away but most of you have guessed right anyway. DAJB: I would not be so cruel as to deprive her of her taste buds!!!:) Ulrika: It's a photo I took in the lake district last year, and I know it's cruel but I wanted to show what she is missing. Ah dear Carl, I haven't asked her, though I've meant to. If she doesn't reply to you first I will find out and post it on the cover. Interestingly over here a lot of faiths do accept gays but only if they are not practicing and by that I mean not even kissing, which is what I find really sad.

I'm guessing sight too, although I'm not quite sure on why. Something to do with the promo posters? I think one of them had something to do with love isn't blind or something maybe? This page is so gorgeous! I actually can't explain how beautiful it looks :) The gorgeous and fresh picture in the background, not to mention your drawing and colouring skills. Absolutely fantastic, and breathtaking, and the writing is great too. Very well done!

I also just read the comments on the cover. May I ask what church your friend is a member of? I'm involved with the (American) Episcopal church (I'm not a member, since I'm not christian). The Episcopal church has always been very accepting of gays, and is now even more so after the reactionary bishops decided to leave. Nothing like schism to unite what's left of a church! In fact, the general convention is working on an official rite for gay unions. As always, the main stumbling block is the wording...

Fantastic! I *love* colored pencil - it's such a flexible and beautiful medium! I did a Tenniel-style Jabberwock in colored pencil in high school, back when I could draw... *sigh* Looking forward to the story! Just what I needed, another fave!

My guess is that she is blind. Somehow she has a kind of absent look on her face and it seems for me that she is 'watching' the flower by her hands... or maybe I'm wrong. Anyway the drawing is beautiful, it looks so real. gosh, I envy your skills! Oh, and I love this page! You know what? You make me miss my own country-this page looks so swedish! Nature, cold fast rivers with stones and blond (almost white) haired children. The only this missing are red wooden houses ;)
