Thanks for the comment! ^^

I was going to make it readable from left to right but the competition rules suggested to make one readable like real mangas, so I thought I'd give it a try. What you say is true, though. I only notice it now that you mention it.

All the lines should be black. I used black markers to ink it. The scanning brought the grayness up -o- I didn't dare to make the lines much darker with Corel because it would've made the lines look more computer than hand made.

All this only goes to show how inexperienced I am with comic making and using computer to my drawings :D I have much to learn!

Hello, Lehmu! Congratulations on finishing your comic, and on being brave enough to enter it into a competition! I think that it's very sweet. Here are some other things that I thought:

(1) Only make a comic that reads right to left if your native language does that - otherwise it's a conceit that just doesn't make sense. And on this page it actually breaks things up, since reading R->L makes it look as though both the characters are staring off into nothing and ignoring one another, instead of staring into each others faces.

(2) Your backgrounds are nicely full, and I like all of the angles, close-ups, and perspective shots that you have to mix-up the general pace of the story.

(3) You need to work on human proportions and anatomy, but don't we all? :)

(4) Don't be afraid to set an absolute black on the page - gray is pretty, but fades out on some monitors.

Yay! Keep drawing!
