I imagine that's not the best environment for a child...
This dialogue went through several rewrites; not only did I find I'm pretty uncomfortable writing this specific sort of women's dialogue (- somehow, it always ended up sounding too macho), but it really had to be short and on point.
I'm still experimenting with the colors, but this is one of the only pages so far which I'm really satisfied with. And it only took me three coloring sessions (which would be about one afternoon each... ugh). Oh, and I'm finally getting a definite feel for how I should portray Aria... rowr.

this is another fine example and I really love the fun cut to her imagining being a mom while fighting bad guyz.
I think that's why the mom in "The Incredibles" retired from being a superhero for awhile. Can you imagine the maternity section in a superhero costume store?
